Villena & Asociados is a long-established law firm specialising in tax, legal, corporate and accounting matters. The firm is currently led by the third generation, Rafael Villena Alapont.

OUR HISTORY

1936

Villena & Asociados traces its origins to the law firm founded in 1936 by Miguel Villena Fernández, a Tax Inspector and PhD in Economics.

From its inception, the firm established itself as a recognised legal advisory practice in Valencia.

1961

Miguel Villena Gracia, PhD in Law and practising lawyer at the Valencia Bar Association, joined the firm.

Together, they established the Centro Técnico Jurídico Fiscal, based at Pasaje Ripalda 12 in Valencia. From there, they played an active role in the practice and development of tax law and authored numerous legal publications contributing to the dissemination of tax law.

1991

VILLENA & ASOCIADOS, Abogados was formally established as a new law firm.

The firm joined the European Lawyers Union and Rafael Villena Alapont became a partner, having previously developed his professional career within the firm.

2025

Rafael Villena Civera and Laura Barandiarán Garro joined the firm as partners, bringing more than five and seven years of experience respectively at Cuatrecasas.

Today, the firm continues to be led by Rafael Villena Alapont, representing the third generation of the family.
